God wants to take over our lives completely and fulfil His eternal purposes in and through us. Our waiting upon Him allows Him to do just that. When the 120 deciples obeyed Yeshua's command to tarry in Jerusalem, the Holy Spirit came. The greatest revival in all history took place and its effects continue till today.

Waiting upon the Lord brings us into His presence, to be one with Him and to be transformed by His glory.

But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. (1Cor 6:17)

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Cor 3:18)

'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts. (Zech 4:6b)
